 What non-essential files can be deleted?

This may be somewhat of a beginner question, but what files can be safely deleted (obviously not counting the Easy PC Schematic/ PCB Design Files and Project File)? For example, can the 'DrillIdent.did' file be deleted or will this be required for the creation of Gerber or ODB++ files? There are some files which I noticed appeared during component creation but were not necessary and were safely deleted, but how common is this with the files which can appear upon the various functions that Easy PC offers?
