Posted - 28 Oct 2016 : 08:39:31 Easy PC is all up to date and i was using it yesterday morning. Tried it in the evening and now i get the missing file error. I have re run the install of Easy PC, which gave me the option Modify / Repair or Remove. So I ran the repair. Still no luck. Turned of all virus scanners, and run as administrator. Still the same error. No known changes were done to the computer between morning and afternoon.
Still working on this issue. If I find a solution I will post it. Just wanted to see if anyone else was having the same problem. |

Posted - 28 Oct 2016 : 08:52:49 Thanks for the fast response. Its working again now. Copied the DLL's from another directory, it seems fine again. I tried running your link, but its saying I have a newer version already installed. Which may have come with Visual Studio 2013.
At least I'm up and running again now. So I'm happy. |

Posted - 28 Oct 2016 : 08:46:53 You could try running just the Microsoft run-time installer from here:
http://www.numberone.com/downloads/tools/vcredist_vs2010_x86.exe
That should run through installing (or repairing/replacing) the MS run-time files. I wonder if you have uninstalled or changed some other application that has removed this file from the system when it was still required by other apps including Easy-PC.
