Oh dear me . . .

Getting a prototype ready so I cleared out the bin for the pcb layout and then forwarded my design changes. I haven't done this for a long, long time on this design and there has been probably several EasyPC upgrades to my current v14 but I normally use the pcb layout to test sizes etc untill we are ready to actually lay the design out.

So the problem was that I now have many errors of components that were not found and therefore not forwarded!

I can cope with small things but the worst is the processor - a Microchip PIC30F6014A.

There is a new version in the library (dsPIC30F6014A-XXX_PF)which is OK but the pinout is different from the original (dsPIC30F6014A-PF) - these are the library names.

Can anyone offer any help here as this is a major setback from the look of it and will mean a lot of work double checking nets etc!

Thanks

Roger B

Well, I found a topic (a sticky in this forum) on recovering a library from a schematic design which after a struggle I managed to get a recovery and placed it in our own library for safety!

Thank goodness for that!!!!
