Hi,

I just purchase EASY-PC ver 10,
and find that there isn't much component in the library.

I see that there are updates for Pro Library ver 11.
Do I need to install them?
How do I install the *.lup file
(which is not the library file I believe)?
Do they need to have license purchased?

Thank you for your advise,
Siong Boon

Best Regards

The Easy-PC libraries are quite basic. There are several supplementary libraries that you can purchase. The Pro library is one of them.

If you go to the site home page, then select 'Download Datasheets' from the 'Products' menu, you can access pdf files listing the contents of each library. They're included on the CD, or can be downloaded, but you'll need to contact sales to purchase a licence first.

The 'lup' files will only work if you've already got the relevant supplementary library installed. Open the Easy-PC library manger, then for each tab (Schematic Symbol, PCB Symbol, and Component) click on [Add File] and select the 'lup' file. It will update all affected libraries on that tab, not just the one currently selected.
