I am getting a bit worried about the lack of response from Number One. There was a time when queries would be replied within a few hours if not maybe a day, but now it is as if they have dissappeared from the radar! . This coupled with the devaluation of the tool with its free offing to RS, I become to wonder if the product is about to hit the buffers.

I think I for one would like to hear something from NumberOne so that if there is an imminent demise, then at least we all know and can move on and plan for the future.

Hi,

I too would like to see some response - there have been a few posts that could be answered or commented upon.

With the advent of the RS software offering "Design Spark" - is it possible that we will be given an upgrade to the commercial program - Pulsonix - with reduced fees if you are a personal/hobby user - may be difficult to prove.

I can categorically state that we have no intention of discontinuing Easy-PC or otherwise changing its 'status' as a live product that will continue to be enhanced. We have for example already started on plans for Easy-PC V15. I apologise if you feel that the response to questions on the forum has not been as good as you have come to expect, we'll be looking into why this has happened.

Thanks for the reply David. That does make me (and perhaps others) a bit more happier.

My only real hope now is that V15 takes account of the lively library structure debate and the shortcomings with the present system.

No Iain

The plan for V15 is

-rotation to 0.001 degree
-new colour management system
-new zoom system
- special printing option for A1 and A0
and our new killer: a new SMD component library

happy?
